For years I have been interested in family history. What is the story of our clan? What was living in Scotland like for our ancestors? What is it like now? Why did some leave their homes and country?  When did they leave? Where did they go? How did they get there and how did they live?  As a member of the Clan Crawford Association, I have met many Crawfords from throughout the world both in person and on-line. Recently, as mentioned in the most recent Clan Crawford Assoc newsletter, we received an invitation from  Christoffer Crafoord of the Swedish Crafoord Society.  The invitation is to any interested Clan Crawford Association member to visit and participate in the Swedish Crafoord Society gathering.  He explained, “The Swedish Crafoord Society normally arranges a party for all members every three years at the House of Nobility in Stockholm. The next one will be held on October 4th, 2026. Should there be an interest from a CCA member that happen to have a chance – and wish – to visit and participate let Christoffer Crafoord know through christoffer.crafoord@gmail.com.”

It is a 400-year-old palace as well as an organization whose “objective is to preserve and maintain a historical heritage.”
